WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (September 28, 2020) – With the 2020 Census deadline approaching, the City of West Palm Beach’s Census Planning Team initiated a “call-a-thon” and enlisted the help of dozens of volunteers. Nearly 30 individuals, including employees of City Hall, Mandel Public Library and Vickers House, are contacting residents. The team is providing community members with live assistance in responding to their census questionnaires, thank them on behalf of the City for having already responded if that is the case, or leave a voicemail with key facts about the 2020 Census. During the five-day campaign, the group anticipates reaching approximately 13,000 households.
