Request a West Palm Beach Police Department Record
Do you need a copy of a West Palm Beach Police Department record?
1. Check your eligibility
WPBPD records are available to request online. Anyone can request these public records. You can request:
- Computer-aided dispatch reports (CAD)
- Incident reports
- Arrest reports
Traffic Crash Reports, which are available at:
WPBPD only has records of incidents in the City of West Palm Beach. For Palm Beach County records, please visit the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Records Department.
2. Gather your information
The more specific information you provide, the easier it will be to find the record. It is helpful to have the following information:
- Date of incident
- Case number
- Keywords
- Names of people involved
- Location of the incident
3. Submit Your Request
Use our online service to submit your request:
4. We will review your request
Immediately you will receive:
- A confirmation email
- A reference number
Within two days you will receive:
- A notice of any fees. We charge a fee if locating or copying records takes more than 15-minutes of employee time. If we believe there will be a fee, we will inform you before we begin, since a 50% deposit is required before we begin your request.
5. Make a payment
If there is a fee for your records request, we accept payment in-person, online, and by mail. Make checks or money orders payable to the City of West Palm Beach.
To pay online:
- Go to the Public Records Center
- Click on “My Request Center”
- Click on “View My Requests”
- Click on “View Invoices”
- Click on the Invoice Number
- Click the “Pay Now” button in the upper right
- Click on Proceed to Payment
- Enter your card information
- Select pay
Note: Once the payment is made, a payment confirmation is immediately issued to the email address on the request.

6. Receive your records
You will receive a notification by email when your records are available. You can receive your documents electronically through the records center, by fax, by email, or by mail. You can also pick-up your records in-person.
