Empowering Education:
Mayor's Education Partnership Grants

In an effort to help elementary schools within the City of West Palm Beach, Mayor Keith A. James started the Mayor's Education Partnership Grant Program on Monday, April 15, 2024. The goal of the grants is to enhance educational outcomes for the students.

Grand Opening Celebration at Icon Marina Village

The City of West Palm Beach celebrated the grand opening of the almost 400-unit waterfront apartment complex on North Flagler Drive. A project of The Related Group, the interior designs were provided by designer and former tennis champion Venus Williams.

 


A Resource for Expanded Rail Transportation

Mayor Keith A. James has been at the forefront of championing the advantages of mass transportation and expanded rail transportation in the region. Mayor James has worked with the Palm Beach County Transportation Planning Agency, Brightline Holdings, Inc., and met with state and national leaders to the discuss the positive impact high-speed rail is having on the City of West Palm Beach.

Mayor Keith A. James has been meeting with various delegations to champion the advantages the high-speed rail service has brought to the City of West Palm Beach. New housing developments have been built near the station, and the station has been a boon to downtown businesses.
