Shop With a Cop

The West Palm Beach community and the FUND for West Palm Beach Police gave more than 300 children and families a reason to smile this holiday season with the annual Shop With a Cop. Children and several families jammed the aisle of Walmart on 45th Street as WPB Police, volunteers and Santa, stepped up to ensure struggling families and children have a reason to smile. Police provided gift cards based on family needs and accompanied children selecting clothes and toys for their siblings and parents.

Esperanza Holiday Toy Drive

West Palm Beach Police know you just can't put a price on a child's smile. For about 250 children at the Esperanza Community Center it was nothing but smiles on Saturday, December 17 at the annual Esperanza Holiday Toy Distribution. Children in the Community Center's Outreach Program were able to select a toy and meet a "reindeer (a.k.a WPB Police K-9 Loki)." With the assistance of West Palm Beach Police, the toys for the children were donated and collected at drop-off boxes placed at many area businesses and in residential communities throughout the City. The goal of the program is to ensure all children get at least one present during the holiday season.
