The Department is staffed by 314 sworn officers and complemented by 105 civilian personnel. We are the largest municipal police department in Palm Beach County. A full spectrum of specialized units is offered giving a motivated individual the ability to specialize in many areas of policing. Those specialized units include but are not limited to: SWAT Team, K-9, BOMB Team, DIVE Team, Hostage Negotiation Team, Criminal Investigations Division, Specialized Investigations Division, Motor unit, etc.
