Since 1894 the City of West Palm Beach has been a leader in police services. Our department has always been on the forefront of training and technological advances in Law Enforcement. We are a professional accredited police department with highly trained and dedicated professionals who answer the call 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our police officers are responsible for Life Safety, Incident Stabilization and Property Conservation. This is achieved through many of the various units our department provides such as Road Patrol, Criminal Investigations Division, Specialized Investigations Division, Traffic Unit, SWAT Team, BOMB Team, DIVE Team, Emergency Field Force Team and Community Outreach to name a few. Our police officers provide professional police services with the highest level of protection and care to our diverse community with respect, pride, integrity and honor.
