Vision:

The YCAF aims to empower young people to design, implement, and govern climate solutions, fostering a more sustainable future.

Goal:

The goal of the YCAF is to activate youth-led initiatives and address urgent climate challenges in West Palm Beach. All projects must fit within the goals of West Palm Beach’s Sustainability Action Plan.

Eligibility:

Open to applicants between the ages of 15-24 years old who reside in, or whose initiatives directly benefit, the City of West Palm Beach.

Award Size:

Successful applicants will receive a micro-grant, distributed to their sponsor organization, ranging from $1,000 - $5,000 to fund their projects.

How to Apply:

Online Application

Complete the online application which will identify: project advisor, project description, timeline, budget, Sustainability Action Plan alignment, and supporting documents.

Online applications will be due August 21, 2024.

The YCAF Selection Committee will review applications and select the winning applicants Late July/Early August 2024 with funds being distributed to awardees in August/September 2024.
