What time are the fireworks?
The fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:09 p.m., weather permitting.

Is there a charge for the event?
4th on Flagler is FREE!  Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Is there a parking fee?
Parking is available in the City of West Palm Beach’s public parking garages.

The Banyan and Evernia garages are closest to the event and are subject to a flat rate fee of $5 before 4:00 p.m. Beginning at 4:00 p.m. the flat fee is $10.  The City Center, Clematis and Sapodilla garages are subject to a flat rate of $5.

Is there something for kids to do?
The BNT Windows & Doors Kids Area is in the Meyer Amphitheatre (104 Datura Street). Activities include FREE make-and-take Independence Day-themed crafts and games. All other activities, including inflatable bounce houses and games, require a $5 wristband for unlimited fun. 

May I bring my dog?
Noise from exploding fireworks frequently causes distress in animals. While City events welcome dogs on short leashes, pet owners are encouraged to consider their animals' tolerance before bringing them to this event. 

May I bring fireworks or sparklers? 
All personal fireworks are prohibited and will be confiscated.

May I bring a backpack or a cooler?
For public safety, backpacks and coolers are not permitted. All bags are subject to search.

Are there chairs or seating areas?
There are some chairs and seating, but due to the high volume of attendance at this event, patrons are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.

What are the rules for docking my boat at the public docks?
City docks will be open for vessels on a first come/first-served basis. No rafting, no open flames permitted.

Boaters will be provided with wristbands to enter the event site from the docks.  Boaters must have their wristband in order to re-enter the dock.

No entering or leaving the docks Thursday, July 4, from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm due to the fireworks.

Docks will not be accessible to pedestrians beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 4.

Boats will not be allowed to leave the docks between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm, or until the area has been cleared by marine patrol.
