Post Date:08/28/2020 12:12 PM

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (August 28, 2020) – Palm Beach County (PBC), a partner of the City of West Palm Beach, recently informed the public that as of September 1st, 2020 it would be pausing acceptance of applications to its CARES Act Rent and Utility Assistance Program. This decision has been made in order to allow enough processing time for applications already in the growing queue for the program.

The rental and utility application portal will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, August 31st, 2020. Households who have not yet submitted their application can do so at  www.pbcgov.com/OSCARSS. PBC will re-open the portal in October, dependent on funding availability.

The City of West Palm Beach’s Housing and Community Development Department is available to help connect residents with available resources and assistance programs throughout the City and the County. To speak with a team member, please call (561) 822-1250 (TTY: 800-955-8771).
