City of West Palm Beach Announces Special Evening Parking Rate in Downtown Parking Garages

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The City of West Palm Beach is excited to announce a special month-long parking promotion aimed at encouraging residents and visitors to enjoy the vibrant downtown dining scene and support local businesses during The Palm Beaches Restaurant Month. Starting on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, and running through Oct. 8, 2023, the City's five parking garages will offer a reduced weekday evening parking rate, allowing everyone to enjoy convenient and affordable parking options while exploring the City's culinary delights and entertainment.

Under this special promotion, patrons can park their vehicles at any of the City's Parking Garages – Banyan Street Garage, City Center Garage, Clematis Street Garage, Evernia Street Garage, and Sapodilla Garage – for a flat fee of just $2, from 5 p.m. sharp until midnight, Monday through Friday. This promotion is designed to make it more convenient for individuals to visit downtown West Palm Beach for dinner and other evening activities, even as the City undergoes construction projects.

Please note that the reduced rate only applies if the vehicle enters the garage after 5 p.m. and departs at or before midnight. A $20 lost ticket fee will be applicable for any lost parking tickets.

Mayor Keith A. James expressed his enthusiasm for this initiative, stating, "We are committed to supporting our local businesses and creating a welcoming downtown atmosphere for our residents and visitors. By offering this special parking rate, we hope to make it even more enticing for people to come downtown, enjoy our world-class dining options, and take part in the exciting activities our City has to offer. This is just one of many steps we are taking to enhance the overall experience of being in West Palm Beach."
