Mayor Keith A. James Appoints Melissa Anderson as the LGBTQ+ Liaison

Mayor Keith A. James is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Anderson as the Mayor's LGBTQ+ liaison. In this role, Ms. Anderson will serve as a resource for Mayor James and the public in advocating for LGBTQ+ issues and concerns and in promoting diversity, inclusion and equality in West Palm Beach.

Stars and Stripes in Paradise

The City of West Palm Beach will soon host its Annual 4th on Flagler Celebration with a festive "Stars and Stripes in Paradise" theme. The highly anticipated event will return for its 35th year as the largest waterfront Independence Day Celebration in South Florida. The event will take place from 6 - 10 p.m. along Flagler Drive (between Banyan Boulevard. and Fern Street).

Enterprise Permitting and Licensing System (EPL)

Getting business done in the City of West Palm Beach has just gotten easier. Launching Monday, June 26, 2023, EPL offers residents and their agents the opportunity to apply online and manage plan approval or permitting processes from the comfort of their home or office.

Rhythm & Hues:

Kids Have Creative Fun at the Mandel Public Library

Your kids can have lots of fun this summer at the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach! One of the wonderful activities is Thursday morning Rhythm & Hues music and dancing sessions for babies and children up to age 5.

 

 

The 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season Has Begun

The City of West Palm Beach would like to remind residents of the importance of being prepared for potential storms. While we hope that this season will be uneventful, it is always best to be ready. The 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season has now begun and runs to Nov. 30. Stock up on supplies now. Florida's tax-free hurricane days run through June 9.
