WOMAN DIES IN ONE-CAR CRASH

A West Palm Beach woman died when the car she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree on North Congress Avenue.

At 8:40 p.m. October 21, West Palm Beach police responded to the crash in the 1800 block of North Congress Avenue. Investigators determined that a 2009 Toyota Camry was southbound, when the driver lost control and veered onto the sidewalk before striking a tree. The driver, Marjorie Paultine, 41, of West Palm Beach, died at the scene. Paultine was the sole occupant of the car.

Congress Avenue was briefly closed while West Palm Beach traffic homicide investigators conducted the on-scene investigation. The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
