Now Open: Nominations for Historic Preservation Awards

Now is your chance to honor a historic preservation success story, or an improvement made to a neighbor's historic property! Nomination forms are due to the city's Historic Preservation Division by Friday, May 13, 2022.

 

HOME-ARP Informational Meeting on May 19

The city's Housing and Community Development Department invites the public to learn more about funding available through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 under HUD’s HOME Investment Partnerships Program. Community members and agencies serving the city's vulnerable populations are invited to attend and share their feedback

 

Residents may place an unlimited amount of vegetative waste for pickup at no additional charge during this period. The result is comprehensive, citywide cleanup in preparation for hurricane season.

 

You're Invited! Job Fair & Hiring Event Set for May 13

A May 13 job fair and hiring event will feature more than 50 municipal government jobs! Applications will be accepted on-site. 

 

Mayoral Town Halls: North End, District 4 Neighborhoods

Mayor James will provide updates on neighborhood priorities for north end and District 4 neighborhoods. He will also share his vision for our city as a Community of Opportunity for All. Residents and business owners are invited to attend.

Okeechobee Blvd. & SR 7 Multimodal Corridors Study

The Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency is working to identify alternative ways to create a safe and efficient transportation system for these corridors. You are invited to leave a comment or participate in their upcoming workshop.
