Design for Currie Park's Historic Transformation Approved

After years of community input, grant writing and design, the City has approved a design plan that sets the stage for the 13.6 acre park’s long-awaited transformation into a world-class destination.

 

Calling Local Artists: Application Open for Public Art Initiative

The City’s ArtLife Committee will select 10 local artists for The Commons Project. Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

COVID-19 Recovery Assistance Available for Small Businesses

The City's Small and Minority/Women Business COVID-19 Recovery Assistance Program is available for City-certified small businesses and minority/women business enterprises.

 

'Closing the Gap' on Black Homeownership

The City has teamed up with the Florida Housing Coalition as part of its "Closing the Gap" program. This campaign focuses on decreasing the racial gap in homeownership by revealing historical patterns of discrimination.

 

Now Available: Water Quality Report

The Annual Water Quality Report explains results for the previous year, detailing where your drinking water comes from and how safe it is. Public water systems are required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide customers with a copy of the report each year.

 

2022 Chlorine Switch In Effect Through July 27

The Department of Public Utilities will conduct a temporary switch from the current Chloramine disinfection to Free Chlorine disinfection of its water distribution beginning on Thursday, July 7-27, 2022. This is an annually-required, preventative maintenance process to help ensure quality and safety standards for your drinking water are maintained.

Public Input Sought: Tell Us What ARPA Funding Options Matter Most!

The City was allocated $24.5 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds and wants to hear from you on what priorities should be considered for allocation. Residents and business owners can access the online survey now through Friday, July 22.
