REGISTER NOW: 2022 Winter High School, Junior Basketball Leagues

We are now accepting sign-ups for our 2022 Winter High School and Junior Basketball Leagues. The high school program will be offered at the South Olive Community Center, 345 Summa Street. The junior program will be offered at the Gaines Park Community Center, 1501 N Australian Avenue. Registration loses February 25, 2022.

STYX Proposers Forums to take place in February

The West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency will host three Proposer Forums to inform proposers about the Invitation to Negotiate ITN No. 21-22-500 Sale or Lease of Real Property for Small Business – Styx Promenade. 

 

COVID-19 Update

Continue to take precautions against COVID-19. According to the CDC, community transmission of COVID-19 remains high in Palm Beach County.

  • For information about testing and vaccination sites in our area, please visit the COVID-19 Resource Guide.
  • The city has established a testing site at Gaines Park, which is experiencing heavy traffic. Visitors should expect long lines. There are many testing sites in our area.
  • Visitors to City Hall are required to have an appointment with the exception of individuals paying water bills, processing building permits (getting building permit applications/information), submitting public records requests, and attending public meetings. A face covering is required for entry to city government facilities.
 

Mayor Keith A. James Appoints Bridget M. Souffrant to City of West Palm Beach Chief Financial Officer Position

Mayor James is pleased to announce the appointment of Bridget M. Souffrant to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Souffrant will assume this position effective Monday, February 7, 2022.

Save The Date: State Of the City Address on February 4

Mayor James will deliver the State of the City address during the February breakfast of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches on Friday, February 4, 2022 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

Next City Commission Meeting Scheduled for January 24 at 5PM

Meetings are held every other Monday at City Hall, 401 Clematis St. The public is encouraged to attend. Face coverings and social distancing are required.
