WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (April 6, 2020) – Due to COVID-19 mitigation, the City of West Palm Beach has postponed this year’s bulk vegetation amnesty days until further notice. The annual event allows residents to place an unlimited amount of vegetation for pickup at no cost in advance of hurricane season.
Bulk vegetation pickup will continue as scheduled. In compliance with regular bulk vegetation pickup guidelines, please make sure the amount of residential yard/garden waste does not exceed the allowable amount and is contained within an area of 18 ft. x 4 ft. x 4 ft (length x width x height). Piles of yard and garden waste exceeding these limits or more than 3 bulk items will require a special pickup request. To submit a special pickup request, please call (561) 822-2075 (TTY 800-955-8771) or visit: https://wpb.hiperweb.com/DotNet/HWCRM/where.aspx?caller=ADVANCED&deptid=102,104.
Guidelines for bulk vegetation waste can be reviewed on the City’s Website, here: https://www.wpb.org/government/public-works/sanitation/yard-waste-bulk. (Please note that the Palm Beach County Solid Waste Authority guidelines for bulk vegetation waste do not apply to pickup in the City of West Palm Beach.)
