WEST PALM BEACH, FLA (December 9, 2021) – Children of all ages and their parents or caregivers are invited to stop by Mandel Public Library through Thursday, December 30, 2021 to write a letter to Santa, create holiday greeting cards for friends and family, and even send a note to downtown West Palm Beach’s famous holiday sand tree, Sandi, to celebrate her 10th birthday.
Children who write letters to Santa and Sandi (and provide their home address) will receive a special letter back in the mail. The holiday card station with plentiful art supplies is open during library hours, and children who attend the library’s free homework centers have the opportunity to create cards, too.
“This is a wonderful holiday family event that has become a tradition for many in our community,” said Mandel Public Library Director Lisa Hathaway. “We love seeing children enjoy making cards with any festive, funny and sweet holiday greeting they’d like, and parents often come back to us saying how much the surprise Santa mail made their children’s holiday season.”
The holiday card station is free. Registration is not required. For more information, visit wpbcitylibrary.org or call (561) 868-7703.
