The Mandel Public Library is proud to offer programs to help the community heal such as yoga, meditation, and Happy Little Paintings. On October 9, 2021 we will offer a brand-new program for our community to process stress or trauma with a Write to Heal Workshop with Flose LaPierre.

Flose founded Write to Heal, LLC in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to help people heal through writing. She is not a therapist; she is an intuitive healer, writer, spoken word artist, and workshop facilitator who will guide participants through techniques to help them with personal difficulties.
Flose’s Write to Heal workshops are designed to keep you emotionally safe and help build resiliency as you empower yourself. Participants don’t have to be a “good writer” for this program… when it comes to writing to heal, there is no such thing! You’ll be able to give yourself the freedom to process your traumas and stress without judgment. Writing to promote healing will come with the same ease as texting, emailing, or making social media posts. It only takes good practice.
The workshop will not only help you with writing but also with breathing techniques and healthy aftercare.
This workshop will be offered once a month from 2:00 – 3:30 PM for registered participants. Notebooks, pens, and pencils will be provided, or you can bring your own writing devices.
