Road Closures / reopening

• Thursday, March 11, 2021, 6:00 p.m. - Northbound Flagler Dr. closes between Okeechobee Blvd. and Banyan Blvd. 
• Thursday, March 11, 2021- Narcissus closed to local traffic only
• Sunday, March 21, 2021, 6:00 a.m. – Southbound Flagler Dr. closes between Okeechobee Blvd. and Banyan Blvd.
• Sunday, March 21, 2021, 6:00 a.m. – North Clematis St. closes from the Visitor Center to Flagler Dr., and Datura St. closes between Narcissus Ave. and Flagler Dr.
• Sunday, March 21, 2021, 6:00 a.m. – Evernia St. between Olive Ave. and Flagler Dr closes, and Fern St., between Olive Ave. and Flagler Dr. closes.
• Tuesday, March 30, 2021, 5:00 p.m. – Flagler Southbound reopens
• Tuesday, April 6, 2021, 5:00 p.m. – Flagler Northbound reopens.

• Elizabeth Ave. between Caroline St. and Edgar St. (through mid-March 2021): Local traffic only for streetscape construction.
• 7^th St. between Carver Ave. and Tamarind Ave. (through March 2021): Intermittent lane closures east and westbound as part of the Tamarind Ave. corridor improvements project.  Flaggers will assist motorists in work zones.
• South Olive Ave. between Southern Blvd. and Okeechobee Blvd. (through Wednesday, March 31, 2021): Intermittent lane closures for speed hump installation, starting at Southern Blvd., proceeding north on Olive Ave. to Okeechobee Blvd.  Flaggers will assist motorists in work zones.
• 2400 Centre Park West Alley between Bristol Dr. to dead-end west of Australian Blvd. (through April 2021): Alley is closed for sanitary sewer repair.
• 1300-1500 block of 7^th St. (through August 2021): Intermittent lane closures for road paving, installation of new ADA-compliant ramps, sidewalks, crosswalks, and the rehabilitation of four  roundabouts.
• Washington Rd. between Monceaux Rd. and Monroe Dr. (through December 2021): Intermittent lane closures for full streetscape redesign, including new underground utilities and storm drainage improvements.
• Rosemary Ave. between Clematis St. and Banyan Blvd (until further notice): Full road closure for water main replacement.

EVENTS ROAD CLOSURES

• West Palm Beach Antique Flea & Craft Market (Saturday, March 13, 2021, 5:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.): Road closure for the 300 block of Clematis St.  
• 500 Block Merchant Weekend produced by the DDA (Friday, March 12, 2021, 4:00 p.m. through Sunday, March 14, 2021, 10:00 p.m.): Full road closure for the 500 block of Clematis St.  Pedestrian access only.
• GreenMarket in the City Commons produced by City of West Palm Beach Community Events (Saturday, March 13, 2021, 5:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.): Road closures on:

• North & South Clematis St.
• Narcissus St. between Banyan Blvd. & North Clematis St.
• Lantana Ave. between Banyan Blvd. & North Clematis St. 
• 200 block of Clematis St. east of Pioneer Linens

PRIVATE ROAD CLOSURES

• Rosemary Ave. between Evernia St. and Fern St. (through March 2021): Full road closure for completion of Rosemary Square streetscape project.  Access to the west sidewalk and businesses will be maintained.
• Brightline Railroad Crossing at Richard Rd. (through Wednesday, March 10, 2021): Full road closure, 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, for crossing upgrades. Detours:

• Eastbound Richard Rd. traffic will be directed to travel south on Old Dixie Hwy. to Northlake Blvd., east on Northlake Blvd. to A1A, and north on A1A to access Richard Rd.
• Westbound Richard Rd. traffic will be directed to travel south on A1A to Northlake Blvd., west on Northlake Blvd. to Old Dixie Hwy., and north on Old Dixie Hwy. to access Richard Rd.

• Datura St. between Quadrille Blvd. and South Dixie Hwy. (through early 2022): Westbound lane closed for construction of a senior living facility. Motorists should use Clematis St. or Evernia St. as westbound alternatives.

PALM BEACH COUNTY (PBC) ENGINEERING & PUBLIC WORKS ROAD CLOSURES IN CITY OF WPB

• Australian Ave. at Banyan Blvd. (until further notice): Northbound right lane closures and southbound left turn lane closures for road improvements.
• Australian Ave. north of Mercer Ave. (until further notice): Periodic westbound traffic shifts for utility work.
• Australian Ave. on the northeast corner of Okeechobee Rd. (until further notice):  Periodic westbound traffic shifts for utility work.
• Australian Ave. at Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. (until further notice): Southbound right lane closures, eastbound right turn lane and right lane closures, and westbound left turn lane closure for drainage installation.
• Australian Ave. south of Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. (until further notice): Periodic lane closures for intersection improvements.
• Congress Avenue south of Executive Center Dr. (until further notice): Periodic eastbound right lane closures, and westbound U-Turn lane closures at 5^th St. and Belvedere Rd.
• Okeechobee Blvd. and Jog Rd. (until further notice): Intermittent lane closures for intersection improvements.
• Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. and Australian Ave. (until further notice): Periodic lane closures for intersection improvements. Carver Ave. at Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. is closed. To access Carver Ave., use Australian Ave. south to 7^th St., and go west to Carver Ave. 
• Community Dr. between Haverhill Rd. and Village Blvd. (until further notice): Periodic westbound right lane closures and eastbound traffic shifts for FPL pole replacement.
• Roebuck Rd. from Jog Rd. to east of Haverhill Rd. (until further notice): Periodic lane closures for pavement markings.

• Greenwood Ave. one-half mile north of 45^th St. (until further notice): Periodic southbound lane closures for driveway and sidewalk connections and utility work.
• Northlake Blvd. west of Ballen Isles Dr./Steeplechase Dr. to west of Beeline Hwy. (until further notice): Periodic westbound right lane closures for AT&T aerial work.

FLORIDA DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION (FDOT) ROAD CLOSURES IN CITY OF WPB

• Southbound South Dixie Hwy. between Belvedere Rd. and Monceaux Rd. (through Friday, March 19, 2021): One of two lanes closed, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for underground utility installation.
• Westbound Okeechobee Blvd. between South Sapodilla Ave. and South Rosemary Ave. (through Wednesday, March 31, 2021): One of four lanes closed from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for underground conduit installation.
• Southbound North Quadrille Blvd. between Banyan Blvd. and 3^rd St. (through Friday, April 9, 2021): Intermittent lane closures, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for underground utility and pole installation.
• Vehicle Detection & Traffic Signals Improvement Project (through Summer 2021): This improvement project is upgrading traffic signalization with video vehicle detection (camera) systems at area intersections. Motorists should expect slower traffic and construction activity at the following intersections:

• 45th St. at Corporate Way
• 45^th St. at Haverhill Rd.
• Quadrille Blvd. at Hibiscus St.

• Southern Blvd. Bridges Replacement Project (through Fall 2021): Southern Blvd.’s westbound lane between SR A1A and the tide relief bridge will be closed from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. nightly begin beginning Sunday, February 21, 2021, through Wednesday, February 24, 2021, to install drainage. Traffic will be maintained in both directions in the eastbound lane – one direction at a time – with a flagging operation.
• Flagler Dr. between Southern Blvd. and Worth Ct. North. (through fall 2021) will be closed for roadway reconstruction as part of the Southern Blvd. bridge replacement project. Access is maintained for local traffic only. Flagler Dr. sidewalks, from Southern Blvd. to Worth Ct. N., and the Southern Blvd. south sidewalk, from Washington Rd. to Flagler Dr., will remain closed through summer 2021. Detours:
• Traffic going north of Flagler Dr. should:
• Go west on Worth Ct. N. to Washington Rd.;
• Go north on Washington Rd. to Southern Blvd;
• Go east on Southern Blvd. to Flagler Dr.
• Traffic going south on Flagler Dr. should:
• Go west on Southern Blvd. to Washington Rd.;
• Go South on Washington Rd. to Worth Ct N.;
• Go east on Worth Court N. to Flagler Dr.

• Pedestrians using Flagler Dr. between Southern Blvd. and N. Worth Ct. should:

• Use the east Flagler Dr. sidewalk.

• Pedestrians using Southern Blvd., between Washington Rd. and Flagler Dr. should:

• Use the north Southern Blvd. sidewalk.

CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH DOCKS

• Currie Park Boat Docks and Ramps (2400 North Flagler Dr.): Ramps are open daily, sunrise to sunset.
• Lake Mangonia Park Boat Ramps (2957 North Australian Ave): Ramps are open daily, sunrise to sunset.
• Clematis St. Docks - South Clematis St. at South Flagler Dr. (Thursday March 11, 2021, through Monday, April 5, 2021):  Docks will be closed to the public for use by the Palm Beach Boat Show.
• Fern St. Dock -Fern St. at South Flagler Dr.- (Thursday, March 11, 2021, through Monday, April 5, 2021): Docks will be closed to the public for use by the Palm Beach Boat Show.
