Do you have a little one who loves trucks? Then you have to join us for our second annual Touch a Truck: City Vehicle Edition as the library joins forces with the city’s Public Works and Public Utilities teams to bring big truck fun to little ones and their families.
Touch a Truck is an interactive event designed for children from birth to age 5. Children and caregivers will be able to look closer at some favorite trucks and meet the people who help keep West Palm Beach clean and beautiful. Little ones can explore, learn about, and yes, even touch, different machinery used around the city.
At the event, children will enjoy truck stories, songs, and engaging hands-on activities. Additionally, they'll have the chance to meet the hardworking teams from the City of West Palm Beach Public Works and Public Utilities departments as they demonstrate their equipment and share insights into their important work.
Here is what you need to know: The trucks will be parked on the 400 block of Clematis Street, right in front of the library, from 10 – 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27.
Touch a Truck is not just a chance for kids to look at trucks – it's a valuable learning experience that doubles as a fun activity! Children will gain a deeper understanding of the world and their community by interacting with real-life vehicles and the people who operate them.
