I am excited to announce that the City of West Palm Beach has selected a “Go Live” date of June 26, 2023 to roll out our new Enterprise, Permitting and Licensing (EPL) software (formerly known as EnerGov) to replace CommunityPlus. This has been in the works for more than three years and is a major investment on the part of the City to streamline many of our current functions and improve efficiency. We currently have nearly 175 employees undergoing training on the new platform and we’d like to extend an overview opportunity to members of the private sector who do any type of development application, permitting, plan review or inspections in West Palm Beach.
On Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in the City Commission Chambers, we will present our next Developer Outreach presentation with an emphasis on the new EPL software. I strongly encourage anyone who does any development related applications or permitting within the City to attend this meeting as we will provide an overview of the new platform. The new software will allow developers, contractors, expeditors and residents to submit and pay for applications and permits electronically and we have streamlined many of our operations in an effort to improve our efficiency. I suspect that the EPL portion of the presentation will take less than 30 minutes but opportunity for Q &A will also be provided.
I look forward to seeing you then.
