In preparation for Fiscal Year 2020/21, the City of West Palm Beach will host two community budget meetings. This is the first meeting, the second happens on July 27.  During these virtual meetings, City staff will present the FY21 budget outlook to the public.  The impacts of COVID-19 on the broad and local economy have caused a significant loss in revenues which is adversely affecting the City’s current budget and our budgets for the foreseeable future.  The public is invited to learn, ask questions, and submit any cost savings ideas during these meetings for the City to consider. Questions can be submitted before, during, and after the presentations but by no later than the close of business on Monday, July 27, 2020.

Public comments and questions can be submitted via the following options:

  • Zoom: Call the number for the Zoom meeting to ask a question or make a comment, in real time.
  • Voicemail: Public comments can be made via voicemail at (561) 320-2679.
  • Written/Recorded Comment or Question (by email): A written or recorded comment or question can be emailed to publiccomments@wpb.org
  • Public Comment Kiosk (in person): Make a public comment or ask a question at the Comment Kiosk located in the Flagler Gallery at City Hall. Please follow CDC guidelines and COVID-19 local emergency orders.
  • Public Comment Portal (website): To submit a comment or question, complete the online Public Comment Submission Form on the City website. Visit: https://www.wpb.org/i-want-to/public-comment

The City’s virtual public meetings are currently being broadcast through multiple mediums, allowing for multiple ways for the public to continue to participate and provide public comment for these meetings. Many public meetings can be viewed live using the following options:
