City of West Palm Beach Launches “Mask On, West Palm!” Campaign

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA (August 28, 2020) – The City of West Palm Beach invites residents, community leaders, business owners and the general public to participate in the “Mask On, West Palm!” campaign. The social media and communications initiative is designed to encourage residents and visitors to wear masks or face coverings to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and to build a community of health, safety and resiliency. Palm Beach County has mandated the wearing of facial coverings in public places.

 

The campaign includes a printable flyer, social media content including graphics and posts, and a downloadable video public service announcement featuring community members. The ‘Mask On, West Palm!’ media kit is available to anyone who would like to help raise awareness of the importance of wearing face coverings and masks to help prevent COVID-19 spread. To reduce the spread of COVID-19, CDC recommends that people wear masks in public settings when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
