City of West Palm Beach Celebrates SunFest During Clematis by Night
Concertgoers of all ages will enjoy live music, food and drinks, and opportunities
to win SunFest tickets

What: Fans of the award-winning weekly concert series — Clematis by Night — will enjoy an extra special CBN when Clematis by Night Celebrates SunFest. The celebration is a kickoff for SunFest, a popular multi-day, waterfront musical festival. Clematis by Night will include a live performance of country music by David Michael & The Tequila Cowboys, a selection of on-site local food and drink vendors, SunFest trivia for prizes, including SunFest ticket giveaways, and a special private celebration and recognition for SunFest volunteers.

David is a country music singer-songwriter. He resides in Canton, Georgia, but still considers Greenacres, Florida, his hometown. David’s rocking country mix of heart-warming and funny song lyrics, along with true country and honky-tonk song style, make him an up-and-comer in the country music world. David has amassed a following of fans of all ages in Georgia and Florida. He has opened for Confederate Railroad, Bellamy Brothers, Perfect Stranger, David Ball, Jeff Bates, Little Texas, and Tracy Lawrence.

Public Info: For nearly three decades, West Palm Beach locals and visitors have made memories by gathering at the City of West Palm Beach’s award-winning weekly concert series, Clematis by Night. The event takes place every Thursday from 6 – 9 p.m. on the Great Lawn in downtown West Palm Beach. The evening event includes live performances of various musical genres from popular national, regional and local bands. Admission is free, and food and drink vendors are on-site for purchase. Dogs on short leashes are allowed, and it is recommended that concertgoers bring a chair or blanket. Parking in downtown West Palm Beach is always convenient in West Palm Beach garages. The Banyan Boulevard and Evernia Street garages are closest to the event.

Since 1982, SunFest has been held annually on the West Palm Beach Intracoastal during the first week of May. This year, the multi-day concert event takes place from May 3 – 5, 2024. The festival will feature more than 45 performers.
