Announcing West Palm Beach GreenMarket Master Chef Showcase Semi-Finals
On Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, esteemed, local chefs will face off in first round of semi-finals

Who: City of West Palm Beach
Two local chefs
Community leaders as Showcase judges
Residents and visitors of all ages as spectators

What: The City of West Palm Beach invites locals and visitors alike to cheer on their favorite chef during the West Palm Beach GreenMarket’s Master Chef Showcase first round of semi-finals. The semi-finals will feature winning chefs from past rounds to prepare an Asian-inspired dish with a pre-selected protein choice — chicken, pork, beef, fish – which will be unbeknownst to the chefs until the day of the competition. Competitors will chop, sauté, and serve their dishes to a panel of judges comprised of community leaders. Judges will pick the winning dish based on presentation, flavor, and originality, advancing the winning chef to the Showcase finals on April 6, 2024.

Before or after the competition, spectators are encouraged to shop at the GreenMarket’s 125 vendors, which are spread out all around the Great Lawn and along the 200 block of Clematis Street. The Market also features two musical performances and a rotating weekly workshop for attendees.

When: Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024
GreenMarket is from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The Master Chef Showcase is from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Public Information:    The GreenMarket takes place every Saturday through April 20, 2024, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (except March 23, 2024, due to the Palm Beach International Boat Show).

Admission to the GreenMarket is free. Dogs on short leashes are allowed. Parking is available in the City of West Palm Beach’s public garages, which are the Clematis, Banyan, City Center, Sapodilla and Evernia garages. The Banyan and Evernia garages are closest to the event and are subject to the City’s all-day weekend flat rate of $5. The City Center, Clematis and Sapodilla garages are free during market hours, with current parking rates in effect afterward. Those interested in arriving by boat can also take advantage of the City's free public docks. The Clematis Street Dock is the closest dock to the market.
