The shooter who critically injured a 44-year-old Royal Palm Beach woman August 28 was arrested by police Wednesday afternoon at her job in Palm Beach Gardens.

Brien Golden, 21 (D/O/B 2/2/2001), female, of 925 6 St., West Palm Beach, was taken into custody at 1:39 p.m. by Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach police at the Gardens Mall, where she works.

Detectives identified Golden as the person who shot the driver of the grey passenger car during a road rage incident that started on North Australian Avenue Sunday August 28 and continued on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard. Golden was the rear passenger in the 2016 Nissan Altima driven by her mother, Sondra Drummer, accompanied by her twin brother, Brennen Golden. All three share the 6^th Street address.   

Golden faces one count of first-degree attempted murder and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. She was taken to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Main Detention Center for booking. The investigation remains ongoing.
