BBQ, Brews & Blues Kicks Off Independence Day Weekend in WPB

Family-friendly event features delicious BBQ dishes and competition, and longtime blues sensation Joey Gilmore.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (June 10, 2022) --- The West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency will celebrate the start of Independence Day activities with the return of BBQ, Brews & Blues in the City’s Historic Northwest. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Heart & Soul Park, 825 N Rosemary Avenue, from 4 - 9 p.m. This family-friendly occasion will feature local barbeque vendors and a fantastic lineup of soulful blues. This year’s BBQ, Brews & Blues will feature a barbecue competition where five vendors will put their best to the test.

Guests can enjoy FREE samples of delicious southern soul food and craft beers by local vendors (while supplies last, must be 21 or older for beer samples). Early arrival is recommended for this unique tasting of summer barbeque favorites including pulled pork, barbecue ribs and chicken, sweet potato pie, boiled peanuts and more.

In addition to tasty foods, BBQ, Brews & Blues will serve up a healthy side of blues. Featured acts will include longtime blues sensation Joey Gilmore and the dynamic Ike and Val Woods band. There will also be plenty of kid-friendly activities including sports, carnival games, Independence Day-themed arts & crafts and more.

Trolley service will be available from downtown West Palm Beach. Guests can also take advantage of the free parking during festival hours at the Palm Beach County Judicial and Governmental Center parking lot, located on Banyan Boulevard between Rosemary Avenue and Quadrille Boulevard.
