WEST PALM BEACH, FLA (February 4, 2022) – Registration is available for the 2022 Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Photography Contest. The annual contest is designed to showcase the natural environment and diversity of the city’s 23-square mile wetlands ecosystem as seen through the lens of amateur photographers.

Entries are being accepted in these four categories:

• Landscape,
• Wildlife,
• Black & white,
• Closeup/macro, and
• Youth category.

Entries will be accepted through February 28, 2022 at grassywaters.org.

This year’s judge is Raymond Gehman who worked for the National Geographic Society for 25 years.  Images can be submitted from 2022 or any previous year, with any photographic device (digital DSLR camera, smartphone, iPad, etc.).  

The event is sponsored by the Grassy Waters Conservancy, in partnership with the City of West Palm Beach. Grassy Waters Conservancy is the 501(C)(3) non-profit for Grassy Waters Preserve.
