Correction/Update: City of West Palm Beach Offering 2022 Spring Break Camps

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA (January 28, 2022) – Enrollment is now open for the City of West Palm Beach Parks and Recreation Department’s 2022 Spring Break camps. Camps will run March 14-19, 2022 and are offered to students in grades K-8.

SPRING BREAK FISHING CAMP (NEW)

What: Participants will learn fishing 101, such as how to tie fishing knots, bait a hook, cast a fishing line and how to identify various native saltwater species. Participants must bring their own fishing rod, but bait will be provided.
Where: Currie Park, 2400 N Flagler Ave.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cost: Residents: $60, non-residents: $75

CRAZY GAMES SPRING BREAK CAMP (GRADES K-5) (CANCELED)

What: Camp participants will have fun with competitive games, fun indoor activities and an inflatable obstacle course.
Where: Howard Park Community Center, 1302 Parker Ave.
Time: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (5 – 6 p.m. childcare available for an additional $30 per child)
Cost: Residents: $190, non-residents: $238

SPRING BREAK CAMPS (ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL)

What: Campers will spend the week making new friends at their local recreation center through sports activities, arts and crafts, exciting field trips and more.
Where: Gaines Park Community Center, 1501 N Australian Ave., South Olive Community Center, 345 Summa Street (Daily programming varies by location.)
Time: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Cost: Residents: $87, non-residents: $144

SPRING BREAK SKATE CAMP (ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL)

What: Children will learn skateboarding fundamentals, or take their current skills to the next level, with the coaching of qualified skateboard instructors.
Where: Phipps Park Skate Park, 4715 S Dixie Highway
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cost: Residents: $12/day, $50/session, non-residents: $15/day, $70/session

Registration can be done at any city recreation center or at parks.wpb.org. Proof of West Palm Beach residency must be provided, as well as the annual $25 per family registration fee. Parks and Recreation staff will ensure that all current CDC recommendations are followed during camp sessions.
