The City of West Palm Beach Community Events Division produces over 600 unique, original, award-winning family-friendly events each year, most of which are free. Our beautiful city provides a spectacular backdrop year-round to entertain and delight people of all ages, and from all walks of life.  

Festivals and events have a place of honor in West Palm Beach as essential tools for creating the city's urban character.  As one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S., West Palm Beach has retained the sense of a smaller, more connected community due in large part to its events.

A vibrant hub of culture, business, and fun, see why West Palm Beach has been designated as a World Festival & Event City by the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA).

 

Garden of Life Palm Beaches Marathon

There’s no better way to experience Downtown West Palm Beach than on foot. The Garden of Life Palm Beaches Marathon will pack a load of energy amid the palm trees and majestic water views of Flagler Drive on December 9-10, 2023. In addition to South Florida’s most avid runners, participants from all over the world will join for this marvelous event, soaking in the picturesque landscape.

On Saturday, December 9, join the 7:30am Sun Run 5K Challenge or 10K along Flagler Drive. The Marathon, Half Marathon, and Relay on Sunday, December 10, begin at 6am by the Meyer Amphitheatre. The Half Marathon stands out as one of the best in the country, boasting a course alongside the Intracoastal waterway. The Marathon race shares this speedy course, ideal for BQ seekers.
