Native and Fruit Tree Giveaway

The City of West Palm Beach Office of Sustainability is giving away FREE Florida native trees (and limited fruit trees) at the West Palm Beach GreenMarket in downtown West Palm Beach on Saturday, November 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (while supplies last). Trees are available to City of West Palm Beach residents and businesses. No registration is required for this giveaway. First come, first served. Residents can take home up to four native trees (max of four per fiscal year) and up to one fruit tree per household.

Native tree species will include:
• Slash Pine
• Spanish Stopper
• East Palatka Holly
• Orange Geiger
• Paradise tree
• Satinleaf
• Wild lime
• White Indigo Berry
• Live Oak

Limited fruit trees will include:
• Guava
• Mango
• Loquat
• Sour Tamarind
• Avocado

To confirm that you are a City of West Palm Beach resident or business, please visit https://www.pbcgov.org/papa/ and search for your property address. The listed municipality (not mailing address) must say West Palm Beach in order to qualify for this giveaway.

Climate change is the biggest challenge facing the health of our planet. And while it will take many solutions working together to make a difference, trees are the proven, affordable, natural way that can be implemented quickly to pull carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere today. Every tree planted is a step in the right direction.
