West Palm Beach Events

The City of West Palm Beach Community Events Division produces over 600 unique, original, award-winning family-friendly events each year, most of which are free. Our beautiful city provides a spectacular backdrop year-round to entertain and delight people of all ages, and from all walks of life.

Festivals and events have a place of honor in West Palm Beach as essential tools for creating the city's urban character.  As one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S., West Palm Beach has retained the sense of a smaller, more connected community due in large part to its events.

A vibrant hub of culture, business, and fun, see why West Palm Beach has been designated as a World Festival & Event City by the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA).

Yvette Norwood-Tiger, an award-wining international jazz vocalist and the founder/director of Palm Beach International Jazz Festival is a Detroit, Michigan native whose vocal styling and texture are often compared to that of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. In addition to jazz standards, her repertoire includes the Great American Songbook, bebop, and Latin jazz.

Yvette performs internationally at historic jazz venues and has performed at sold out/standing room only concerts at Royal Albert Hall in London, England; Cape Town, South Africa; Berlin, Germany; Brussels, Belgium; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Havana, Cuba, as well as various venues in New Jersey, New York (Birdland), Florida and Michigan (Cliff Bells).
