West Palm Beach Events

The City of West Palm Beach Community Events Division produces over 600 unique, original, award-winning family-friendly events each year, most of which are free. Our beautiful city provides a spectacular backdrop year-round to entertain and delight people of all ages, and from all walks of life.

Festivals and events have a place of honor in West Palm Beach as essential tools for creating the city's urban character.  As one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S., West Palm Beach has retained the sense of a smaller, more connected community due in large part to its events.

A vibrant hub of culture, business, and fun, see why West Palm Beach has been designated as a World Festival & Event City by the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA).

TAS CRU & HIS BAND OF TORTURED SOULS / Blues

For TAS CRU, after years of performing he found this special place in 2104 with "You Keep The Money", which ended the year at #3 between Buddy Guy & Shemeka Copeland. It was followed by 2016's Blues Music Award Nominated "Simmered & Stewed" and continues with 2018's critically acclaimed "Memphis Song".

Tas Cru is based out of upstate New York and performs in multiple formats ranging from solo acoustic to a 7 piece-backing band. He sings and plays a wide variety of guitars - at home on either electric, acoustic, resonator or cigar box. Tas is a Delaney Guitars (Austin TX) endorsed artist.

It’s not for nothing that Cru has received wide praise for his songwriting. As Downbeat magazine noted, "His songs are blues poetry - crafted with rare verbal flair and his ability to cast a memorable hook is magical!" Live, these songs are performed with power and passion as observed by Living Blues magazine, "The vivacity and sheer joy with which Cru plays is intoxicating!"

This FREE family-friendly concert series is held year round on the 3rd Sunday of each month, and features a variety of national and regional recording artists. Located along the picturesque Flagler Drive waterfront on the Waterfront Commons. Call 561-822-1515 for more information.
