WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (May 1, 2020) – The City of West Palm Beach is committed to assisting its local business community in relief and recovery efforts during COVID-19. The Economic Support and Recovery team with the City’s COVID-19 Response Unit has created “West Palm Shops,” a promotional campaign that encourages customers to shop online or purchase gift cards from participating retailers.

“Our local business community plays a critical role in the economic health of our City and we will do whatever it takes to keep businesses running,” said Mayor Keith A. James. “As many of you know, this pandemic has affected countless people on a global scale in terms of public health and economic prosperity. Regardless, your City leaders are working hard to make sure we all make it through this together.”

Like “West Palm Eats,” “West Palm Shops” is a landing page linked to the City’s main website. The page includes details about local shops’ hours of operation, website location and more. Businesses interested in being listed on either “West Palm Eats” or “West Palm Shops” can send this information to EcoDev@wpb.org.
